'Pretty In Pearls'

I love this style-it's so me. Simple, but balanced to just the right point with pearls to add elegance and femininity along with black in the dress and hearts in blouse. The pink is so gentle and adds subtle colour to the look. As it's a two piece outfit the look can be worn in different ways which makes it adaptable for person to person.

So, a few changes have been made to the look of my blog. Any suggestions/ideas comment below! But I have gone back to the older template design which I much prefer. Anyways I am bringing back the voting poll and may do it more regularly now for a bit of fun

0 For Rainy days...

Today has been quite a rainy day for where I live!
Basically our washing machine and dryer's electricity was down so I made a home dry cleaners(quite entertaining!) and it worked quite well and then I found out that it was on and had been for an hour...

 

In with the powder and hot water from a kettel-give it a stir then put in the clothes

 

 

 

WOOSH in the cold water...

 

Leave it,

 

 

Then spin again!

 

Drain or squeeze the clothes..

 

 

 

Get a hair dryer and poke it in an opening on whatever needs to dry and leave it there while you do the rest of the washing

 

 

 

 

 

I hope that gives you some ideas for those rainy days,

My Brooch idea*

The outfit again

So, most of this outfit is from Primark apart from the hat which I have had for a long time so this is a fairly cheap look.

*This idea came about when I was thinking about what necklace to use on the outfit I was going to use it but found it was too short but really loved the charms with the look so I gathered it up and pinned them with a hair pin to act like a brooch!

The good point about this outfit is that it's warm yet it doesn't have sleeves so it can also keep you cool on the on-off days.

2 Hello There!

I realise I can't keep that on top of blogging but nevermind you've got one now! So what has been causing my attention?-Art journaling!!! I LOVE IT. so..i have gathered a bunch of stuff you need to know and have for it!

Tips:
If you haven't got anything to dry your wet pages with use a hairdryer!
You'll find the page curls in-just flip to the next page and heat it to curl it the other way and even it out.
Use what you've already got like toothbrushes, bubble wrap and sponges to create texture on the page.
Messyness is not a word in art journaling(or in the dictionary) every page is a piece of art no matter how simple, you know why?-because it's made by you!

0 mmm Tastes of summer

I found these pics I took of things I made for my aunties stay and looking back at them sure makes you hungry! The first was a strawberry cheese cake-yum! and then I did a jewel salad which had loads of tasty ingredients.
